TOOLS USED FOR ANALYSIS
General:
Eindhoven365 uses functional and analytical tools to ensure the website functions properly. The functional tools ensure that the website operates correctly, and the analytical tools measure website usage. Measuring website usage is part of Eindhoven365's obligation to report on the website's performance.
The analytical measurements cannot be traced back to individuals or are configured in such a way that the impact on privacy is minimized during processing.
3 TOOLING
3.1. Functional tools
The functional tools are cookies that ensure the website functions properly. We use cookies for the following purposes:
- remembering information you fill in on different pages, so you don't have to re-enter all your data every time
- transferring information from one page to the next, for example, if you have to fill in a lot of data for an online order
- storing preferences, such as language, location, the desired number of search results to display, etc.

3.2. Analytical tools
These are cookies that allow us to measure website usage.
To determine which parts of the website are most interesting to our visitors, Eindhoven365 constantly tries to measure using the following tools: Google Analytics, Search Console, Google Tag Manager, HotJar, Semrush, Sharpspring, Thirdlight, Clear, and Meltwater. It is part of Eindhoven365's task to report on the website's performance. For this, it is necessary to keep track of web statistics.
Cookies placed by one or more of the aforementioned tools are designed to have a minimal impact on privacy.
Statistics are generated from the information we collect this way. These statistics give us insight into how often our web pages are visited, where visitors spend most of their time, and so on. This enables us to make the website's structure, navigation, and content as user-friendly as possible. We cannot trace the statistics and other reports back to individuals.

4 JOB APPLICATIONS
When you apply for a position at Eindhoven365, we use your personal data to process your application.
5 PRESS AND PROFESSIONALS
We collect data from the following professionals: press people, influencers, journalists, and entrepreneurs, with the aim of actively informing them about events organized throughout the year in Eindhoven. The personal data stored is data necessary to maintain contact with these professionals.
6 WHERE DO WE STORE YOUR DATA?
The data we receive and process is managed by the parties listed below.
6.1. Gmail
The website's email traffic is hosted by Gmail. If you contact us via email, the relevant emails are stored on Gmail's servers.
6.2. Google Drive
Agreements, such as employment contracts, containing your personal data are stored on Google Drive.
6.3. Content Management System website
Your personal data (name, email address, and company name) is stored in our online content management system of the Eindhoven365 website.
7 HOW LONG DO WE STORE YOUR DATA?
We never store your personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which we store it, unless we are required by law to store the data longer. For example, we do not store application data for longer than 2 months as a standard, so we have the opportunity to contact other candidates after any termination during the probationary period. If you give permission, we will store your data for a possible other position for a maximum period of one year. We do not store data longer than the legally prescribed period of 7 years (Article 52 of the State Taxes Act). No time limit is attached to the storage of professionals' data. Of course, their data will be deleted at their first request, as well as if it appears that they are no longer active in their industry.
8 HOW DO WE SECURE YOUR DATA?
Data is stored digitally in the systems and software mentioned under 5.1, 5.2, and 5.3 above. The personal data managed by us or by the aforementioned third parties is only accessible via the above software and is secured with a password. Only Eindhoven365 employees or those for whom it is necessary for the proper functioning of the organization have access to the data. In addition, everyone who has access to personal data has a duty of confidentiality. Furthermore, visits to the website are secured by an SSL certificate. This security is recognizable by the green padlock in front of the URL. This certificate means that your connection to the website, and possibly that of the festival, is private.

9.4. Right to erasure
